"We are using this as an opportunity to share our passion for electronic music," says François, who owns Forward Management as well as the long-running Wave Music, "and this teaming up does allow us to do this in ways that we might not do individually, each bringing our unique qualities to the table."

Time Out New York recently interviewed both Kevorkian and May, recounting the first time they met at a small club in London. Explaining the process behind the decks, May leaves much to mystery. "We don’t do the four-turntable type of thing,” he told Time Out. “It’s one setup, where we have to share the same environment and work amongst each other in a pretty intimate way. There is no plan—I have no idea what he’s going to play, and he has no idea what I’m going to play. We just kind of go for it and reach some form of agreement through the music. It’s the four-four that connects us. We don’t really talk much when we do it, but that’s really all it is."

Little video has been documented and even less has been recorded, but you can expect a big surprise and unforgettable moments when seeing Cosmic Twins for yourself. If you're in New York for the holiday hangover, this is not an event to miss.

PRESS :: KRAFTWERK & FRANÇOIS K in the NEW YORK TIMES

In a recent New York Times article, "Who Knew That Robots Were Funky?" François K was asked to reflect on his involvement with Kraftwerk:

"François Kevorkian, a D.J. at underground clubs in the late ’70s and early ’80s, would use Kraftwerk to blend tracks by Fela Kuti and Babatunde Olatunji into his sets. 'What was really remarkable was that their music was getting played just as much at Paradise Garage as it was getting played at the Mudd Club, and there were very, very few records that had that ability to cross over between all the different scenes,' said Mr. Kevorkian, who would later work with the band on its 'Electric Café' album. 'Kraftwerk was, like, universal.'"

Electronic music pioneers and living legends, the members of German avant-garde musical group Kraftwerk have recently released newly remastered editions of their eight classic albums in a deluxe box set to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their landmark 1974 hit 'Autobahn.' Not a lot of people know perhaps that until 2000, the only artists allowed to remix the band's recordings were François Kevorkian and William Orbit. François K has collaborated on several projects with Kraftwerk since the groups' early days. In 1983, François remixed the group's legendary “Tour de France” and three years later he was hired to mix the seminal 'Electric Café'album. His remixes remain to this day some of the most popular versions of the group's biggest hits.

"KRAFTWERK: Electro Pioneers, living legends and globally revered masters of electronic sound, celebrate the 35th anniversary of their landmark 1974 hit ‘Autobahn’ by releasing digitally remastered versions of eight astounding albums on October 5, 2009. Rolling back musical barriers with every forward-thinking phase of their career, Dusseldorf's Zen masters of electronic minimalism laid the foundations for four decades of computerised pop and dance music. By chain reaction and mutation, they have influenced generations of artists in all genres, mapping musical futures yet to come." Read more on

NEW RELEASE :: 'Collaboratory Remixes Volume 2' featuring remixes by JOHN DALY

Earlier this year, Poker Flat kingpin Steve Bug released his fourth full-length album, 'Collaboratory,' which highlights his particularly strong knack for amalgamating his talents with other respectable artists. Still running on its praise, Poker Flat has just released 'Collaboratory Mixes Volume 2,' which features Ben Klock, Deetron and our very own John Daly.

"Ben does it again... 10/10! Full support" Radio Slave

"John Daly mix is a bomb. Enough to give the package full points!! Deep sexy gear. Love it. 5/5" Adultnapper

John actually contributes two very different remixes to this release, and both are for the track "Trust In Me," which features Brazilian singer/DJ Virginia Nascimento on vocals. In a Resident Advisor feature, 'Collaboratory' is broken down by individual tracks, and describes this particular collaboration as "a deep swung song...structured around a slow house vibe, but still works in a club environment with its hypnotic, ringing synth hooks and heavy bass elements."

The first remix by John Daly is in line with his sexier, deep house vibe, echoing Virginia's vocals and bringing out the bass from Bug's original production. Also included in the release is an extra dub remix that catapults towards the peak time at a tech-house night, accentuating euphoric builds and focusing on what elements can be pulled from the bottom out within the rhythm.

Forward Welcomes Roberto Bosco (Italy) To Its Roster

Roberto Bosco has been previously signed by a handful of renowned personalities, but an upcoming project for François K's Wave Music will align his reputation alongside them. The young Italian producer has a short but highly impressive discography, citing labels such as Orlando Voorn's Night Vision, Samuel L. Session's Klap Klap and Len Faki's Figure. The 'Circle Dub' EP (click for samples) on Faki's imprint shows Bosco's versatility in techno. Heavily influenced from 90s German and Dutch electronic music, his style is in touch with the chunky minimal techno that's currently lauded on Resident Advisor and mnml ssgs and blasted within the walls of Berghain and Fabric. Only in his early 20s, Roberto has a keen foresight of his genre's cutting edge, and is able to filter it out into his exceptional original productions. Years ago, Bosco was selected to remix Juan Atkin's Infiniti single, "Game One," after signing to record the 'Close Your Eyes' EP for Night Vision. Lately, he has released on Be As One, an Israeli imprint that's attracted the tastes of Loco Dice, Gui Boratto, Kate Simko, Agoria and GummiHz. Since the start of 2009, Roberto's work has been the talk of many established techno musicians, and his time in the spotlight is only getting started.

Currently residing in Salerno, Italy, Roberto Bosco will soon be available for all markets, and we anticipate an American tour around late March of 2010. Please send any inquiries to vicki@forwardmgmt.net

PRESS ::: Reviews of BEAT PHARMACY : Wikkid Times Remixes EP

NEW RELEASE on Wave Music :: BEAT PHARMACY :: Wikkid Times Remixes EP
Beat Pharmacy’s ‘Wikkid Times’ album gets the remix treatment from Appleblim & Komonazmuk, John Daly, Deadbeat and Intrusion on this massive EP.

Moeller, whether as Beat Pharmacy, Echologist or his own name, has spent his career releasing on some of the strongest labels in the world. The likes of Rekids, Third Ear, Connaisseur and Echochord have all called upon Moeller’s prodigious, dub-styled talents which is superb testimony to his abilities. Appleblim & Komonazmuk take on ‘Nuclear Race’ feat. Paul St Hilaire first off and create a slow burning dubstep interpretation which layers up gradually from stripped dub atmospherics to a dense, arpeggio laced crescendo. St Hilaire’s vocals drift in and out of the mix which adds to the layering of sounds and creates a mesmerising listen. Irish producer John Daly continues an amazing 2009 with his remix of ‘Time’ feat. Damon Aaron. A lazy house but powerful house beat underpins Daly’s use of chords and stabs while Aaron’s voice is used as an emotive and memorable counterbalance, making it yet another remix hit for the outstanding producer. One half of Echospace, Stephen Hitchell, dons his Intrusion cap for his remix of ‘Sunshine’ feat. Paul St Hilaire. An alias reserved as an outlet for Hitchell’s combination of his love of traditional dub reggae and his more techno excursions, Intrusion means a skanking, white-noise-washed and blissful trip for ‘Sunshine’.

Finally, Wagon Repair artist and engineering wizard Deadbeat carefully twists ‘Ghostship’ and its post apocalyptic lyrics from Spaceape around a low slung house groove. Clattering, loose percussion adds a swagger to cut while subtle, filtered stabs hint at buried melodies throughout. This is a stunning package and features some of the leading lights of dub infused sounds – unmissable.

EPK ::: Roberto Bosco

BIOGRAPHY

Roberto Bosco has been previously signed by a handful of renowned personalities, but an upcoming project for François K's Wave Music will align his reputation alongside them. The young Italian producer has a short but highly impressive discography, citing labels such as Samuel L. Session's Klap Klap, Orlando Voorn's Night Vision and Len Faki's Figure.

RECENT PRAISE

François K regarded Roberto's music as "having an effortless quality; an almost dazzling sense of ease that masks a very strong foundation; a depth and musical maturity that belies his young age." Penning him to release an EP on Wave Music in early 2010, he adds that "while he is already doing quite well, this is just a beginning. His career is going to blossom much further and turn him a major player on the international electronic music scene."

Orlando Voorn, a long-time legend from Amsterdam and founder of Night Vision selected Roberto to remix Juan Atkin's "Game One" in 2007, and then released an EP from the young artist, which features the hypnotic title track, "Close Your Eyes." Voorn heard Roberto through MySpace and was "impressed by his energetic and clean production. I signed him on Night Vision and off he went - watch out for him!"

Len Faki, who was a long-time resident of Ostgut (before it was named Berghain) and established artist and label owner for many years, released what's better known as the Circle Dub EP (Figure SPC D) earlier this year. He believes there's more to come from Roberto in terms of greatness, and considers Roberto Bosco "a young, very gifted and talented rising artist."
